Who is Fake?

It's pretty easy to spot real versus fake accounts:

• Do a Google search, find the celebrity's official home page, and look for links back to his or her Twitter account.
• Look at the number of followers and followees. Real celebrities tend to follow their friends, not 1000+ people.
• Study the tweets. If the person writes about mundane, ordinary life events, it's more likely real.
• To find other "celebrities", start with a few known celebrities and see who they follow. Just like you, they follow their friends and coworkers.
