On one hand I really like this popup because its informative and clean. Then again it isnt the default balloon color and the Icon is So 16bit it hurts.

It’s a bit superfluous. You just plugged it in. And especially for a headphone you expect it just works. The only thing that can be said for it is that at least it’s not a modal dialog…

I believe Apple’s Boot Camp assitant installed that Realtek HD Audio Manager as part of the Windows driver package. I doubt it is needed at all, but I’ll probably do some research before removing it.

The Real problem is, that when I do the plugging, it takes 1.5 seconds to switch to the device or back. Without the manager, it is instantenious.
