Unfortunately, the application, using the new Java Update 10 browser plug-in, kept crashing.
. “It’s the size of the pipes in Moscone Center,” Green complained. “This is the Moscone terror moment.”
“Size of the pipes”? Was Green being droll? I can’t imagine that they have smaller pipes than, say, my house or one of one of our branch offices.
That’s just Rich Green’s way of getting over the embarrassing moment. The person doing the demo this year is the same one who left Rich Green holding out an empty hand at JavaOne 2007, saying “imagine I’m holding a beautiful cell phone.”
