Exact same thing happened to me a in the form of a CSS + IE6 + google maps bug. I feel like I should apologize to IE6 now for all the rage I directed at it.
Oh yeah, done almost exactly that. Except it was a 100 page OS config file, not source code, with a colon in place of a semi-colon, and in it was in production in a factory automation system that randomly crashed every few days.
That was right about the time I decided I didn’t want to be a programmer any more.
Pair programming helps, Test First helps, Integrated Development Environments help. Pimply faced junior developer fixing a senior developers error on a drive by, now that’s just priceless. Its pure pride before the fall 8^).
Has happened to me more times than I’m willing to admit. Of course, two programmers doing the engineering dance in a cube gives it away….
wow!! very nice illustration. that’s very true. being a programmer is very tough, a single mistake makes the whole program useless. it’s useless because it doesn’t work at all. being a programmer, you should be careful on what you are doing, on what you are coding. that’s very great comics.. lol!! have a nice day…
A short but very well summarize illustration. Its nice to know how a programmers life is. A programmer should should do their work right in target one mistake could turns the whole thing wrong.
Gud day! your illustration of describing a programmer is quite funny yet it is true. You have explained your thoughts through drawing and I really appreciate the way you do it. Keep it up my friend!
Right on target, again! This pretty much summarize what’s to be a programmer.:-)
Thank you for validating how I was feeling this morning for 3 hours.

I feel your pain. I have experienced the “four days later”,
“Hey, Bob, looks like you used a colon instead of a semi-colon!”
Arrrgghhhh!
I was convinced javascript was out to get me

Not wishing to be pedantic but the guy’s computer doesn’t seem to be plugged in.
