		<description>i find the whole &#039;kentucky&#039; reference amusing. having lived in the state most of my life, its actually fairly rare that you find anyone sporting that haircut. that wasn&#039;t the case two decades ago, but most definitely is now.

yes, there are places in the state that are awful, i will completely admit. go check out the statistics on Lexington at some point though... it is in the top 10 cities in the country for per capita advanced degrees. it most definitely is not the state you might think it to be.</description>
