Dean failed to get the nomination; Lamont won the nomination but lost the election; I think Obama will be "third time, winner" all the way. He is more authentic than Hillary, who has long ago determined to follow the polls and mold herself to the public, even if she may have interesting ideas in private. Obama is actually providing leadership, and his speech yesterday on race and religion has begun to trace that path to the public. Obama clearly said what he disagreed with and rejected; yet he did not reject the pastor who had otherwise done far more good than harm. He could have kept quiet and hoped the controversy would blow over; he could have rejected his pastor outright. But he chose a more nuanced and complex approach. John Kennedy spoke about leadership, which involves more than just playing simple ideas to the crowd; Obama is now part of that tradition. I enjoyed the comic on Obama, and as a Filemaker fan, I wish you well with this site. I hope we get some amazing third party candidate who comes out of no where to win it all.. maybe even two...
